Opening a New Account

In order to open a new account customers will need to provide our office with the following items. NOTE: If any documents or payments are missing, new service may be delayed until such time as they can be provided.

  • A completed application
  • Deposit and Connection fee
    • Residential Accounts: $135.00 
    • Commercial Accounts: $135.00
  • Payment of any past due balances
  • Proof of Legal Tenancy
    • Legal Lease Agreement
    • Closing disclosure/warranty deed/proof of ownership (if not available online)
  • Photo ID
    • Passport/state issued photo ID/drivers license

Customers are required to either request new service here, or in office located at City Hall at 300 W. Main St. For same day service, requests must be made between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday in office at City Hall. New service applications will not be processed after 4:30 PM in office or online.
