Online Permitting and Registration
All building permits must be done online. (Please view the "Online Permitting and Registration" tab on the left side of your screen for guides and information.)
The City of Denison utilizes an online portal through MyGov. All registrations come with an activation letter which is required to setup your online account for the first time. If you have lost your activation letter please email permits@cityofdenison.com requesting your activation letter.
Homeowners with a homestead exemption must also register online. Please visit the Homeowner page for more information.
The online portal allows registered contractors to:
- Submit Permit Applications
- Register as a contractor
- Request Inspections
- View Inspection results/notes
- Check the status of a permit or registration
- Pay fees
- Search for Contractors
- Application / Permit Lookup
- Estimate Permit Fees
Inspection Request Line
Inspection requests can be requested from the MyGov home page at any time. Inspections requested before 3:30 PM will be done the next business day, any inspections after 3:30 PM will be done the day after next. To cancel an inspection please add a comment to the inspection requesting cancellation.
Fire Inspection Request
Inspection request can be requested from the MyGov home page or emailed to firemarshal@cityofdenison.com at any time.
