For Swimmers and Non Swimmers of Every Level

DAILY times available during the week to workout on your own. Great Exercise at your own pace. some classes and schedule times are subject to change or cancellation.

Lap Swimming times are available for adults and older youths that are moving up and down the lanes.  This is not open swim time. Diving Boards and Slides are closed. It is a fun way to increase endurance, tone up, lose weight and become stress-free. Bring a friend and try it out today. 

HYDROFITNESS is a self-guided time during the Lap Swimming time listed below for you to work out at your own pace with all the equipment noodles, kickboards, buoys, barbells to get a low impact high results workout.  Lots of fun! 

FITNESS CLASSES are taught by Certified Instructors and are modifiable for anyone of any age or fitness level. Come in and check it out today!

Waterloo Pool now accepts Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, Silver and Fit, TMC Senior Advantage Discount. Call and check with your Insurance  provider to see if you qualify for FREE or REDUCED admission prices. Please come in and fill out a form and we can help you check.  If your insurance offers a program not listed here please email that information to Betty at mbridges@cityofdenison and we will look into adding Waterloo Pool to their program so you can enjoy these benefits.

Aqua Fit 

Monday - Friday 10:15 am - 11:15 am 
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Come join your friends in a higher energy calorie burning workout without the effects of gravity on your knees, back, and whole body.  Experience this fun cross-training class that our water provides while reducing the impact on your joints, specifically your knees and back. Move at the pace of the instructor or at your own pace faster or slower, just keep moving.

A shallow water medium intensity workout, using water and equipment for resistance, tones muscles, and increases endurance and flexibility. This class is good for all fitness levels. 

 

 Deep Water Power

Tuesday & Thursday 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

This is a full body workout, a combination of cardio, respiratory, muscle conditioning, and interval training. Participants learn to increase their intensity to get the most out of their workout. Class is for all fitness levels Conducted in the deep end; participants can increase range of motion using non-impact movements. Flotation is provided.
