Waterloo Pool is host to multiple swim teams.

• The Denison Dolphins Swim Team has been a part of the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation for thirty years, The team is designed to introduce swimmers age 5-99 to the sport of swimming and competing. You can practice all year or just join for the summer competition season.  Swimmers will learn the 4 basic strokes and how to compete in this Summer Swim League.  The fall is considered off season and swimmers can only practice 90 mins. a week until May when Summer Season kicks in. Swimmers will compete in the summer in circuit meets and a District Meet where top swimmers will earn the chance to swim at the Summer Games of Texas. Practices in the fall are either Monday or Tuesday from 4:30-5:30PM and the summer is Monday thru Thursday 9-10AM
• Metroplex Aquatics - Denison is affiliated and part of the Metroplex Aquatics USA Swim Team with other pools in Allen, McKinney, Lovejoy, Tyler, Fort Worth, and The Colony. Competitions are held monthly year round.  This team is for the more serious swimmer that is ready to take their swimming to a fun new level in preparation for High School and College Swimming. Swimmers up to age 18 may compete on this club team. Practices are held Monday thru Thursday from 5:30-7PM during the school year and 7-9 Monday-Thursday during the summer.
  • Our Metroplex Aquatics Texoma Team is a partner with The USA Swimming Foundation's Make a Splash initiative is a national child-focused water safety campaign which aims to provide the opportunity for every child in America to learn how to swim.
