March 2026 Brush Collection Schedule:

(Based on the collection week for your address)

• 1st Monday Week - March 2nd (set out no earlier than Saturday, February 28th)
• 2nd Monday Week - March 9th (set out no earlier than Saturday, March 7th)
• 3rd Monday Week - March 16th (set out no earlier than Saturday, March 14th)
• 4th Monday Week - March 23rd (set out no earlier than Saturday, March 21st)

Collections Information

The City of Denison collects brush and limbs at your curb 6 times per year. Collection occurs during the months of January, March, May, July, September and November.

All brush and limbs must be placed in one manageable pile no larger than 4 feet by 4 feet by 5 feet.

What Goes to the Curb?

• Tree limbs (6 feet or less preferable)
• Shrubbery
• Bagged Leaves (biodegradable bags only)

What Does Not Go to the Curb?

• Construction debris
• Leaves in plastic bags
• Bricks, rocks, dirt, etc.
• Lawnmowers

Tips to Avoid a Citation

• Do not place material earlier than 7 am on Saturday prior to your collection week. Material must be placed at the curb by 6:30 am the Monday of collection week. Collection weeks begin with the first full week of the month. If the month begins with a partial week, the partial week is not counted. Refer to the Bulk/Brush Calendar for your scheduled week.
• Put brush/limbs on the curb in front of your home. Do not place on vacant lots or medians.
• Do not place brush/limbs in front of utility poles, traffic signs, utilities meters or hydrants.
• Do not mix your bulk items with brush/limbs.
• Do not allow your brush/limbs to block the sidewalk or protrude into the street.

If you are in need of a brush and limb collection outside of your collection week, please call Public Works at 903-465-2720, ext. 5005 to schedule a special collection. Charges for a Special Pick-up or "SPU" will be billed at $17.25 plus tax per cubic yard when scheduled ahead of collection. A forced pick-up is billed at $34.50 per cubic yard.
