Shutting Off Your Utilities
To cancel your water service, please do the following steps:
- Fill out a Disconnect Request online or in office at:

Denison, TX 75020 - A final water reading will then be obtained and the bill will be processed against your deposit.
- Any balance or credit will be forwarded to the address you gave us when you request the disconnect.
It is very important to submit a request to be assured that your service is shut off by filling out a Disconnect Request, or visiting our office at:

Setting Up Your Utilities
Opening a New Account
In order to open a new account customers will need to provide our office with the following items. Note: If any documents or payments are missing, new service may be delayed until such time as they can be provided.
- Complete New Service Application online or in office at:
City Hall
300 W Main
Denison, TX 75020 - Deposit and Connection fee
- Residential Accounts: $135
- Commercial Accounts: $135
- Payment of any past due balances
- Proof of Legal Tenancy
- Legal Lease Agreement
- Closing disclosure/warranty deed/proof of ownership (if not available online)
- Photo ID
- Passport/state issued photo ID/drivers license
Same Day Service
- Requests must be made between the hours of 8 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, in office at City Hall.
- New service applications will not be processed after 4:30 pm in office or online.
