Sidewalk Repair Program
Are you interested in replacing the sidewalk in front of your house or business? Is the cost of a new sidewalk the only thing preventing you from replacing it? The City can help with that!
The City annually allocates funds for a fifty-fifty match program for sidewalk replacement!
If you are interested, please fill out the appropriate application below and submit back to Ervin Pariera, Assistant Public Works Director, at epariera@cityofdenison.com.
Approved applications received between the months of September and February will have concrete poured in March/April and approved applications received between March and August will be poured in September.
Steps for the program
- Fill out the application and send to Ervin Pariera, Assistant Public Works Director.
- City staff will come out to your location, inspect the current sidewalk and take measurements.
- Quotes will be requested by staff from vendors.
- City staff will choose lowest quote and receive approval from the requestor for the price.
- Contractor will be scheduled and come to pour the new sidewalk!
This program has money that is set aside during the annual budget process. Once the specified amount of money has been requested and spent, no more applications will be accepted.
