The Demolition Program kicked off in 2010 to address dilapidated, unsafe, and unfit structures. Since the program inception, almost 500 dilapidated and unsafe residential and commercial structures have been removed across all areas of Denison.
The City continues to actively work this program, clearing the way for quality development, keeping neighborhoods safer, improving the aesthetics and helping protect property values in the surrounding area.
