Liquid Waste Storage & Transport
Proper handling, transport, and disposal is required for all liquid waste, such as grease trap contents, grit trap contents, fry oil, septic, port-a-potty waste, etc.
In order to accomplish this, a City permit is required for all transporters of liquid waste.
Please complete and submit the Liquid Waste Transport Permit Application (PDF) according to the instructions.
Please include the following with your completed application:
- Copy of Proof of Insurance of all vehicles to be used
- Copy of Operations Manager's drivers license
- Copy of TCEQ Registration issued to your company for transportation of liquid waste
- Copy of GCHD permit issued to your company for each vehicle included in this application
- Completed Drivers License List
- Completed List of Vehicles to be Permitted
- Application and vehicle fees
- Required Fees will be added once application is administratively complete and accepted
Fees
- Initial Application and Annual Renewal: $25 annually
- Vehicle Permit(s) Per Vehicle: $150 annually
- Late Renewal Fee: $50 per vehicle for applications received after December 31st for the following year
Please note that fees are doubled in cases of working without a permit.
Manifests
A manifest detailing the custody of the waste from generation, through transport, and disposal shall be provided to the City of Denison.
