Mission Statement

Our Fire Marshal is dedicated and committed to providing the citizens of Denison with a fire safe environment by working pro-actively to provide public education, fire prevention, fire investigation, and enforcement of fire codes. 

Services

The Fire Prevention Division promotes fire safety through education and enforcement.

EMS Information

The Denison Fire Department EMS service currently operates under Medical Director Dr. Greg Keelen. We strive to deliver the highest quality pre-hospital care to the residents and visitors of the greater Denison area on a 24-hour, 7-day-per-week basis. Such services include, but are not limited to: 

  • Advanced life support
  • Basic life support
  • Rescue service

                                                                     All services will be provided in a non-discriminatory manner.

 

DFR-Training Division

The Denison Fire Rescue Training Division is under the leadership of Training Chief Roger Virgin and Training Captain Paul Graxiola. The mission of the Training Division is to ensure all first responders are mission ready for any type of emergency call that comes in. This includes all types of fires and medical emergencies as well as special team operations in the following disciplines:

The City of Denison Emergency Management is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of the residence and visitors by reducing the effects of disasters before they occur, through mitigation, planning for and coordinating the operations and response to a disaster, managing resources and coordination of recovery efforts following a disaster as well as providing public information.
