- Closure: Left lane closure for barrier movement

- Traffic & Access Information
Access to TMC will remain open via Jerdy Gary Ave, which will operate as one-way traffic toward the hospital. This allows construction of the Jerdy Gary Ave driveway in phases while maintaining traffic flow.
Drivers traveling on Spur 503 and heading north should continue toward Loy Lake Rd, proceed straight, and use the next available entrance ramp to access northbound US 75.
December 5, 2025: The frontage road closure north of FM 691 is now scheduled to begin January 5, 2026. This adjusted date helps keep frontage road access open through the holiday travel season.

- Location: Loy Lake Rd to Iron Ore Creek
- Closure: Right lane closed
- Purpose: Installing high-mast lighting
- Location: Exit 65 (Spur 503)
- Closure: Full closure
- Purpose: Installing high-mast lighting
Please plan for delays and drive with caution in the work zone.
December 2, 2025: The temporary detour for FM 691 is not completed, this closure will be delayed.
December 2, 2025: US 75 northbound mainlanes, between Loy Lake Rd (Sherman) and Fallon Dr, the left lane will be closed to allow the resetting of the concrete barrier. This work will start on Dec. 3 at 9:00 pm and be finished by Dec. 4 at 5:00 am.
Next, on FM 691, the eastbound and westbound lanes under US 75 will have alternating lane closures at night to allow for the setting of concrete barrier. This work will be occurring on the following days/times:
- Dec. 3 at 9:00 pm to Dec. 4 at 5:00 am
- Dec. 4 at 9:00 pm to Dec. 5 at 5:00 am
November 25, 2025: TxDOT has announced that frontage road work is planned to begin December 3rd, but the start date may shift depending on weather conditions.Please note: the frontage road between FM 691 and Jerdy Gary Ave will be under construction
Key Traffic Changes:
- A temporary detour is being built to keep northbound traffic moving toward Jerdy Gary Ave and the US 75 entrance ramp.
- Jerdy Gary Ave will remain open as one-way eastbound toward TMC and Pool Rd.
- New signage will help drivers find the correct route to Jerdy Gary Ave.
November 19, 2025: The northbound frontage road from FM 691 north about 800-ft will reduce to 1-lane starting TODAY through November 25th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The lane reduction is to install temporary detour in preparation for the closure and reconstruction of the frontage road.
November 19, 2025: The traffic pattern will change at Spur 503 and the northbound frontage road on Thursday, November 20, 2025, weather permitting, or on Friday, November 21 if needed.
The following are elements of the traffic pattern change:
- Westbound traffic will be restored to the new frontage road intersection.
- The entrance ramp from Theresa Dr. will be re-opened
- The temporary ramp to the frontage road will be closed and removed
- The existing ramp will be re-opened and the roadway blocked to only allow local traffic (Trinity Lighthouse Church)
- The temporary driveway, to access the Trinity Lighthouse Church will be opened.
- At the SPUR 503 intersection with the northbound frontage road, traffic will go north to enter northbound US 75 or continue along the frontage road to take the U-turn to access the southbound frontage road and US 75 mainlanes.

November 14, 2025: Starting TODAY (November 14th) through November 25th, excluding Sundays, the eastbound and westbound traffic on FM 691 will experience alternating lane closures. These closures are necessary for the installation of temporary traffic signals at the intersection of FM 691 and the frontage roads. One-lane will be maintained in each direction during this time.
