Bobby Atteberry has been serving in the role of Interim City Manager since 2021. Bobby has over thirty years of progressively responsible public and private sector management experience. He served as Public Works Director for Denison from 2016 to 2018 and then served as Project Manager for the Designing Downtown Denison (D3) project from 2018 to 2021.
Bobby was also the Project Manager of the West End Fire Station renovation and the Flora Lane reconstruction. Over his career, Bobby has held leadership positions for local governments throughout Texas, including Grand Prairie, Houston, Plano, and Carrollton. Bobby and his wife Shelly enjoy spending time with friends, relaxing with their dogs Wink and Rowdy, and traveling.
