The Public Funds Investment Act requires the City to have an investment policy and for it to be reviewed by Council annually. The policy has been in place since 2003. Annual reviews by staff, consultants, and or legal counsel have occurred since its inception. Updates have been made to the policy as needed or required on an annual basis including updates to verbiage for easier reading and updates made based on new legislation.
