The primary function of the Records Division is document retention, storage, and retrieval of electronic and manual records. The Records Division is also responsible for answering the main phones and staffing the reception area of the main lobby.
Other services include requests for open records materials, processing and approval of reports, including accident reports, and monthly statistical reports.
You may submit an Open Records request via the following link, by mail, or in person at Denison Police Department, 108 W. Main Street, Denison, Texas 75021. The department has 10 business days to review and respond to a request. You must list in detail what specific records you are requesting.
Fingerprinting is done on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Cost for printing is $20 per card.
