THE CITY’S PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT IS EXCITED TO SHARE UPDATES ON FACILITIES AND UPCOMING PROGRAMS.

 
To register for classes or programs:
  • Register online!
  • Call 903-465-2720 ext. 2033 (Main Office); 903-464-4475 (Waterloo Pool)
  • Main Office at Old City Hall (500 W Chestnut Street) during operational hours (M-F 8am-5pm)
  • Waterloo Pool (1501 W Brock Street) 

Resident/Non-Resident fees

Denison residents, whose property taxes significantly contribute to our agency, enjoy the "Resident" rate for select Parks and Recreation programs. Proof of residency is required when registering for these programs. Nonresidents are subject to the "Nonresident" price.

 

WAITING LISTS

Waiting lists are automatically created when there are more registrations for a program than space. Your receipt will indicate if you are registered for a program or have been placed on the waiting list.

CHANGES/CANCELATIONS

Programs and events are sometimes canceled or altered due to weather conditions, low registration, changes in staff, or facility availability. If a program has been canceled by the Parks and Recreation or Aquatics Departments, participants will have the option to transfer their registration to another program, if possible, or receive a refund.

REFUNDS

Full refunds will be issued for any program canceled by the Parks and Recreation Department. Participants may request refunds for classes or programs up to three business days before the first meeting or practice. Refund processing may take up to three weeks.
