Animal Complaints / Emergencies

The following situations are considered an animal emergency and should be reported immediately: 

  • Animal bite
  • Injured animal
  • Loose livestock
  • Loose or wild animal at a school
  • Wild or aggressive animal

Please report animal emergencies immediately to Emergency Services at 903-465-2422. 

Non-emergencies

Non-emergencies may include excessive barking, a possible stray sighting, wildlife sightings around a home, questions about Animal Services, and other non-threatening issues. Please contact Emergency Services at 903-465-2422 to speak to or leave a message for an Animal Services Professional. 

If a person or an animal is in immediate danger, call 9-1-1.
