What is Code RED?

The Code RED emergency notification system is a communication service available for emergency and non-emergency notifications. Code RED employs intranet mapping capable of geographic targeting of calls, coupled with a telephone calling system capable of delivering a pre-recorded message directly to homes and businesses at the rate of up to 60,000 calls per hour.

The system's main purpose is to notify citizens or groups of citizens in emergency situations; however the system has the ability to be used for non-emergency notifications as well. For more information contact Sarah Somers somerss@co.grayson.tx.us.
