Fairview Cemetary
Offering a variety of lots to select from...sections are available with either upright or flat monuments.

When property is purchased, a portion of the sales price is deposited into an ongoing care fund. This fund assures the upkeep of the cemetery into the future.

Fairview Chapel
Fairview Chapel was opened in October 1997 to offer an alternative to graveside services. The Chapel can seat up to seventy-five people and offers protection from the extreme heat, cold or rain. The funding for the Chapel construction was donated by local foundations, citizens, and businesses. An additional charge is not added for use of the Chapel.



City Council Information

From Dallas - Take Hwy 75 North. Take Exit #70 and turn right, heading east on Hwy 84. Travel 1 mile to Hwy 91 and turn Right. Fairview Cemetery is on the right.

From Durant - Take Hwy 75 South. Take Exit #72 and turn left, heading south on Hwy 91. Travel 1 mile to the intersection at Hwy 84. Fairview Cemetery is on the right.

Historical Facts
The first person interred in the Fairview Cemetery was Harriet D. Morrison in 1882.
The cemetery also contains a historic monument to the Forgotten Soldier that was erected after the civil war. Visit our historical facts page for more information.
