How do I file a claim with the city for city-related damages?
If you believe you have a claim against the city, the City Charter requires that you provide written notice to the city within 30 days of the event and giving rise to the claim by identifying the nature and extent of the claim and stating the dollar amount claimed.

View the charter provision covering claims against the city and complete the claim form. When finished, turn the form in to the City Attorney’s Office.
