Responsibilities


The City of Denison Fireman’s Relief and Retirement Pension Board of Trustees provide administration of the fund based on the laws of the State of Texas, Texas Local Firefighter’s Retirement Act, and the U.S. Government.

Commission members consist of 5 elected positions (with staggered terms) held by 3 active duty firefighters and 2 citizen trustees; and of 2 ex-officio members: the City of Denison Mayor and Finance Director. 
 
 

Volunteer


The City of Denison seeks residents interested in public service through serving on the city's boards and commissions. Some boards require special qualifications and all boards require a commitment of the volunteer's time. If you are interested, please complete this form to submit your application online.
